Changing save folder location. Technical Support. Ubeogesh-2804 September 29, 2021, 8:09pm #1. Is there a way to relocate the save game folder? In legacy Diablo II, I could do that by changing this registry property: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Blizzard Entertainment\Diablo II\NewSavePath.
By default, Diablo II: Resurrected save is located at: C:\Users\\Saved Games\Diablo II Resurrected Note that the corresponds to the profile name that you used when you set up your Windows OS.
The saved file should go by the format XYZ.d2s. Remember the .d2s extension. Screenshot by Pro Game Guides After copying the required file, head over to the Diablo 2: Resurrected saved games folder. By default, the location is C:\Users\UserName\Saved Games\Diablo II Resurrected.
C:\Users\Owner\Saved Games\Diablo II. 3. Reply. Share. TalentedJuli. • 5 yr. ago. Note to OP: This is for 1.14d (also "Owner" would be whatever your computer profile name is). If you're running an older version for mods, it will be in your D2 directory, most likely C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo II\save\. 4.
You can find the location of the Diablo II: Resurrected save file here. The game does support having your savefile backed up by on the Cloud. But if you still want to find your save file locally on your PC, then you can follow this guide.
cjnoone 7 years ago #1 Just a heads up, as one of the compatibility fixes for Diablo 2 in 1.14, games are saved in a new location. They used to be saved in \Save, I believe.
